Acceptable Use / Content Policy

Effective date: 1 September 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service for Qwen Image Edit (qwen-image-edit.com). It states what you may not generate, upload, request, or distribute with our tools. If this policy and the Terms conflict on a prohibited-content point, this policy controls.

We have zero tolerance for the categories below. There is no “personal use”, “artistic”, “fictional”, or “I disclosed it” exception.

Sexual, adult, and intimate content — prohibited

You may not use Qwen Image Edit to create, edit, or solicit:

• Nudity, sexual acts, pornography, or sexually explicit content of any kind, including AI-generated material
• Sexually suggestive imagery, fetish content, or adult roleplay
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, “nudify”, “undress”, clothes-removal, or any attempt to show a person unclothed or in intimate wear they are not wearing in the source photo
• Sexualised imagery of anyone, including images that start from a clothed photograph

We do not offer an adult mode. Prompts and workflows aimed at this content are refused.

Minors — refused and reported

Anything involving a child or anyone who is, or appears to be, under 18 is prohibited. That includes sexual content, intimate content, and any sexualised depiction, whether real, illustrated, or AI-generated.

We refuse those requests. We will terminate the account. We will report apparent child sexual abuse material and similar offences to the competent authorities and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the equivalent in the relevant country where the law requires it.

Do not upload photos of minors into tools that change clothing, body, or likeness.

Deepfakes, face swaps, and impersonation — prohibited unconditionally

You may not use the service to:

• Create a deepfake, face swap, or other likeness of a real person, including public figures, celebrities, politicians, or private individuals
• Impersonate a real person, or generate an image that a reasonable viewer would take as that person doing or saying something they did not
• Build a misleading clone of someone’s face, voice, or identity

This ban is unconditional. Disclosing that an image is AI-generated does not make a deepfake or impersonation allowed.

Likeness and permission

You must have the permission of every identifiable person in a photo you upload, except where the image is only of you and you are an adult.

Uploading someone else’s portrait to change their clothes, face, hair, body, or setting requires that person’s permission. If you do not have it, do not upload the photo.

Other prohibited content and uses

You also may not use Qwen Image Edit for:

• Illegal content or activity of any kind
• Copyright infringement, piracy, or distribution of copyrighted works you do not have rights to
• Counterfeit goods, brand impersonation, or fake official documents
• Violence, gore, or content that glorifies harm
• Weapons, drugs, tobacco, alcohol, or other age-restricted goods as a commercial offering
• Harassment, stalking, doxxing, or privacy-invasive tracking
• Spam, scraping tools, or bulk generation intended to abuse the service
• Attempts to bypass rate limits, filters, safety systems, or credit metering

Automated screening and enforcement

Before a generation runs, we automatically screen the prompt (including the text instruction attached to the request). Requests our filters flag as prohibited are refused and are not charged as a successful generation.

Uploads are subject to the same policy. We may reject, delete, or refuse to process an image. You remain responsible for every file you submit; automated screening is not a guarantee that a violating upload will always be caught before it is sent to a model.

If you violate this policy we will suspend or terminate the account without refund. Credits, unused or not, are forfeited. Repeated or severe violations, including anything involving minors, may be reported to payment partners and to law enforcement.

We may also disable a specific tool, prompt pattern, or feature if it is being used to violate this policy.

How to report abuse

Email support@qwen-image-edit.com with the subject line Abuse report.

Include the URL or tool you used, the approximate time, the account or output if you have it, and why it violates this policy. We aim to acknowledge abuse reports within two business days.

If you believe a generated image misuses your likeness, use the same address with the subject Likeness complaint.
